Pengalaman Mencari Universitas.

Haloo teman-teman, baik-baik aja kan?

Udah lama ya gue udah jarang cerita-cerita lagi di blog. disini gue mau nyeritain sedikit pengalaman gue tentang mencari universitas yang cocok (maklum gue orangnya bego) dengan saya.


flashback. pas itu, gue udah kelas XII. Tau kan galaunya anak-anak SMA kelas XII?? mesti mikirin serentetan ujian (dari try out, ujian provinsi, praktek and so on) dan mencari universitas untuk melanjutkan pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, nah pas itu gue bingung banget kan mau lanjut kulaih dimana, mengingat otak gue yang pas-pas an. Karena keisengan gue, akhirnya gue mendaftar di beberapa universitas.

1. UNIVERSITAS KRISTEN MARANATHA (MARANATHA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY)

yeeep!! Universitas Kristen Maranataha adalah salah satu Universitas Swasta yang berlokasi di Jalan Prof. Drg. Surya Sumantri No.65, Bandung, Jawa Barat 40164. Sejarah gue nyari Universitas ini diawali dari keisengan gue ke ruang BK. Pas itu gue liat ada poster gede, gue kira apaan ternyata penerimaan mahasiswa baru di UK Maranatha. laah pas itu gue baca persyaratannya ternyata gue memnuhi persyaratan tersebut, dengan diam-diam (gue ga bilangan ke orang tua), dengan apik gue mengurus persyaratan yang dibutuhkan. gue milih jurusan S1 Akuntansi dan S1 Sistem Informasi. Pas pengumuman gue keterima di UK Maranatha denga jurusan Akuntansi. Hahahahaha, gue seneng banget, dan akhirnyua gue bilang ke ortu gue, tapi ga dikasi sekolah disana. kata ortu gue, cari yang negeri dulu. yaudah gue ga ambil

2. Universitas Telkom (Telkom University)

Universitas kedua yang jadi korban gue adalah UNIVERSITAS TELKOM. Universitas Telkom atau bisa disingkat dengan TEL-U adalah salah satu universitas Swasta yang berlokasi di DayeuhKolot, Bandung-Jawa Barat. Well, pas ini gue ikutan jalur JPA 1. karena gue bingung mau nyari jurusan apa, dan dengan asal asalan  gue memilih prodi S1 Teknik Informatika tanpa tahu apa yang harus dilakukan oleh anak informatika, -_________- eng ing eengg akhirnya gue keterima di prodi S1 Teknik Informatika. Karena didukung oleh banyak pihak (termasuk ortu dan kakak gue) gue memutuskan untuk mengambil Universitas Telkom, katanya sih jurusan informatika di UNIVERSITAS TELKOM ITU KEREEEN, dan prospek kerjanya bagus, dan gue meng-iya-kan saja.


3. President University

Universitas Presiden (President University), adalah universitas berstandar internasional yang bertempat di Jababeka Education Park di Kawasan Industri Jababeka, Indonesia.  Keren kan? Sebenrnya gue ikutan Tes DI President University karena ajakan temen gue sih. Temen gue pengen banget sekolah disini. So, karena gue temen yang baik hati dan tidak sombong(apaan -__-) akhirnya gue memutuskan untuk mengikuti Tes di President University. Gue cuma milih 1 jurusan (PD amat) S1 Hubungan Internasional (International Relationship), nah pas hari pengumuman sih gue pasrah aja, eeh taunya gue malah keterima dengan beasiswa 2. Hahaha, gue senneg banget, ortu gue sih nyaranin ambil, tapi gue ga ambil berhubung gue udah bayar uang pendaftaran di Telkom University, kan kasihan duitnya. 

4. Universitas Padjadjaran (Padjadjaran University)

Oke, ini waktunya pendaftaran untuk Universitas Negeri lewat jalur SNMPTN (Jalur Raport). Sebenernya gue juga bingung kenapa gue pilih Unpad, tapi kata temen gue Unpad itu kereen, akhirnya gue memutuskan untuk mencari Unpad. Pas itu gue cuma pilih 1 jurusan yaitu S1 Pendidikan Kedokteran. daaaaannnn tauu teman2? saya tidak diterima. hahahahaha. gue kesel bangeeet. yasudahlah, mau gimana lagi.

5. Institut Teknologi Bandung (Bandung Institute of Technology)

Pemirsa bingung kan kenapa saya pilih ITB? Naaah masalhnya gue juga bingung niih kenapa pas itu gue nyari ITB (sok kepinteran kalii). okee, gue daftar itb lewat jalur SBMPTN, dan kebetulan juga gue bimbel di bandung (saya bukan orang bandung) bareng temen2 yang nyari ITB. sebenernya pas SBMPTN gue ga nyari ITB aja tapi nyari UNPAD juga (gue masih heran sama, kenapa gue ga diterima, gue daftar dengan prodi yang sama). dan karena bimbel saya yang asal2an alias banyakan bolosnya, pas pengumuman gue ga lulus :( :( :( :(.


Okee itu sedikit cerita tentang pengalam gue nyari Universitas, seneng sedihnya kerasa banget. but enjoy it. akhirnya gue kuliah di Telkom University Tercintaaaaa. hahahaha
sekian dari gue. bye bye. nanikan cerita gue selanjutnyaaa. !!!

     The Importance of Learning English

English is a very important language in the world. Because of it English must be learnt and attempted by all people. Beside that, english is a global language. There are some reasons why English is very important. For more clear information, let’s take a look about the importance of learning English.

 First, by mastering English enables us to become survive and go anywhere throughout the world easily. It means that if we can speak English well, we can go to foreign countries without having guide because English is a universal language which used by most of the countries in the world.

Second, English is highly necessary to be learned and mastered by everyone in order to be able to compete in the globalization era. In this globalization, if we can not understand English well, we will be difficult to find job because many companies need the applicants who capable of speaking English for business and doing some transactions in English.

            

Third, English is a key to open and master science and technology because most of scientists write their experts and inventions in English. Moreover, many books or products such as television, refrigerator, handphone, computer and many more are written in English so that we can understand how to use them easily.   

           

Fourth, English especially for tourism also can be used as a media to promote our country, Indonesia. If we can give the information in English, the tourists will be easily to understand our culture.

           

From the reason above, it is clear that English is a very important language in the world.

The Crane in Priestly Robe

Long time ago, there was a beautiful pond in the middle of the forest. In the pond, there were many kinds of fish and a crab. They lived in harmony. They always played together, did something together and they never thought that they might break up. The crab always protected the fish from danger. In the middle of the beautiful pond, there was lotus. It was a good flower, because the lotus was beautiful and the smell was good. Many butterflies stayed on the lotus because they wanted to eat the honey of the lotus. The air was fresh also fresh because there are many kinds of trees. The water was pure and clean so that the fish and the crab liked to stay there.

 One day, the crane who lived in the trees wanted to eat all of the fish in the pond but it always failed because the crab always protected the fish and the crab knew that the crane wanted to eat them . He thought hardly to find the way to eat the fish. Then he had one good idea. He changed himself into priest and asked them to forgive him.

“ Crab ... crab..” shouted the fish when he saw the crane near the pond.

“What’s wrong  fish?” said the crab.

“’There is the crane near the pond. He wanted to eat us for his breakfast” answered the fish.

“Hey Crane, why are you here?? Do you want to eat us? It will not happen because I am here to protect them, and why you look different today?” said the crab to the crane.

“No, I am here for asking some forgiveness. Now you see, I am not a bad crane anymore but I am a priest who will not eat you. I am sick and do not have a long life. I have come to the balian and no one can cure it. I am so frustrated. I cry all night, I want to live longer, I want to see the sun everyday, I want to sing, and I want to be useful person for everyone here. So, I do Tatwa Utama, deliver Weda Sruti to The Hyang Surya and He said that I must do Tri Kaya Parisudha in which I should think, speak, and do something right. Now I am madiksa and I cannot kill you all,” said Cangak so innocently to all the fish and the crab.

“Oh how poor you are!  I hope you will get well soon and there will be a person who can cure your ill. We are happy for you and we hope you can teach us to be good people. We are ready to learn from you and follow all of your order, my holy priest,” said one of the fish.

Then the Cangak smiled and said, “You should not be sad, I will tell you everything which can help you to get the happiness as sekala and niskala. You have to remember both good and bad things, faithfull to your teacher, always do dharma, and it will be used to decrease all the bad influence of Panca Wisaya, so that you will get Rua Bineda.”

            All the fish were very happy to hear what the priest said to them and from now no they became friends. However, the crab was the only person who did not believe it.

One day, the Crane told a lie to the fish and the crab that some fishermen will come to the pond.

“Oh poor you! You will be caught by the fishermen” cried the crane sadly. All the fish cried too, they were afraid that the fishermen would catch them.

“How do you know that they will come here?” asked the crab. He still did not believe what the crane said.

“If that happen, I will protect the fish here, so you do not need to worry about us,” continued the crab.

“I know that from Bhatara Wisnu when I meditated and He said that fishermen will come here soon. You can not protect the fish because there are many of them” said the crane and made the fish believed him.

“So, what should we do, my priest? We don’t have any idea to prevent their coming” said one of the fish.

“I have got one idea. I will take you one by one to the mountain. In that mountain there is a river called Andawa. It is bigger than this pond and the water is so fresh. That river belongs to Hyang Rudra. There are not human who can touch that water. All of the fish there can not be eaten by anything. If you live there, you will be safe and if my words are not true, I promise I will get Karma Phala” said the crane.

“Ok, we will go there, so please help us, my holy priest” said all of the fish.

So, one by one all of the fish were taken by the crane to the new river. Unfortunately, the bad crane never brought the fish to the Andawa River. The fish was cheated by him. Then, the crane ate all of them. At last, the crane brought the crab.

“Hey crane, please bring me to the Andawa River. I am afraid if the fishermen come and catch me” said the crab. The crab knew that the crane lied. After that, the crane agreed to bring the crab to Andawa River. The crab went up onto the crane’s body and put his arms around the crane’s neck.

The crab was suprised because he did not saw his friends, the fish, in Andawa River. He just saw the bones of the fish. “Hey you! Did you eat all of the fish?” said the crab angrily.     Then, the crab tried to kill the crane by his arms.
“No...no..., I did not eat the fish” said the Crab.

“So where are the fish?” asked the crab
“Sorry crab, I have eaten all of them in the pond, I was so hungry so I ate them all.”

“Oh God, you lied to us. Now I will kill you!” said the crab.
“No...no..., please don’t kill me. Let me go!! “ cried the crane and died.

“Oh poor you my friends, I will bury all of your bones now” said the crab when he saw the bones of his friends, the fish.
